Shift Your Serving Style

I just read an encouraging statistic about how you serve yourself a meal could result in eating less. Plating food at the counter or stove then sitting down to eat could result in eating 14% less. That’s no small potatoes.

Having serving dishes in front of you at the dinner table right under your nose could create temptation and the habit of having seconds just because it’s sitting there. When it’s out of sight it can be out of mind.

Talk about making a paradigm shift of your serving style that helps with gusto! Consider making this significant change. Just think about it, not only will you get in the habit of serving yourself less, you’ll have leftovers to take for lunch the next day.
